Hi I'm JP! The JP Project is a blog I started about my personal experiences, building a new home, being a new wife, and everything in between.
My husband and I got married on October 12, 2012 and closed on our first home two weeks later, talk about stress! But in all sincerity, it was the perfect way to start our lives together, in our new home (now we just have to decide on paint colors - a daunting task).
Penn State is my alma mater, and I do bleed Blue & White. While in college, I double majored in chemistry and forensic science so I am definitely a science geek at heart. Currently, I'm working full-time in the forensics field. I am so lucky to have found my dream job but what I am more humbled about is the fact that I have an amazing group of family and friends who support me, not just in my career, but my every day life. For that, I cannot say thank you enough.
I couldn't have an about me without mentioning our gorgeous little girl, Pepper. She is a 5 month old Weimaraner and growing by the hour. While having a puppy is a lot of work, it is so fulfilling and I couldn't imagine our lives without her. She is what truly makes this house a home.
Oh my goodness Jess!! How did I just find out that you had a blog! SHOOT!!!!! I am so sorry I didn't go searching sooner... now I have a lot to catch up on! Gosh I miss you and I can't wait to read up on all you've been doing.
